How do you create space for the sacred?
Art sale & thoughts on channelling art…
I’ve recently begun a handpoke mentorship course, with a small group of wonderful women. Writing and creating it, asked for me to undress and unpack the true nature of art. What nestles at the root. And how to find the route to that root… And to me, it feels like the core vitality of art comes from whatever we hold close to us- whatever we wrap in wonder, and feel to be sacred.
And then, how do we open ourselves up to inviting the sacred in? How do we see the world in truth? And in unclouded eyes of wonder and appreciation? It feels like it’s more a case of undoing, rather than learning anew.
I won’t share too much about the course as it’s a small connective closed container, but i feel that this journal thought applies to all forms of art…
